What is indefinite leave to remain in the UK? (29th Aug 22 at 11:18am UTC)
Indefinite Leave to Remain also means how you decide or settle in the UK. It can also be called a settlement. Indefinite leave to remain gives individuals the right to live, work and study there in the UK, as long as they like. You can apply for the benefits if you are eligible. Apart from that, you can use your ILR to apply for British citizenship too. There is no time limit for the indefinite leave to remain in the UK. But you should also not spend more than 2 years outside the UK, as you can lose your ILR.
